HYDROBLASTING is essentially the same as Hydrojetting but uses higher pressures to remove strongly adhering contaminants on the surfaces. It can also be used as surface preparation technique prior to coating process.
Hot oil flushing is done using flushing or system oil to remove the fouling from the internals of the piping systems.
Removal sediments or other contaminants that are built up in pipes over time.
Pressure testing must be carried out after construction of all new pipelines to ensure integrity of the welded joints and flange connections.
CESCO HISTORY
CESCO Offshore Construction Services, Inc. is a subsidiary of CESCO Environmental Technologies Pte Ltd with Head Office situated at No. 66, Kian Teck Road, Singapore. CESCO Philippines started its existence by jointly venturing into business with ALLOTROPE Industrial Sales, Inc. with business address at Edison St. Cor. Gil Puyat Ave., Makati City, Philippines, from 1998 to 2004. The joint venture prospered in rendering services such as Hydro-Jetting, Pigging, Hot Oil Flushing of Hydraulic Piping System, Chemical Cleaning of High Compressed Gas Lines and other related services.
In 2005 to 2007, we decided to have another business venture. This time with Worldwide Chemicals, Inc. Said business was located at Unit 2704, City Land Pasong Tamo Tower, 2210 Chino Roces Ave. Makati City, Philippines. The venture focused on Pre-Commissioning activities like Chemical Cleaning of High Compressed Gas Lines, Piping, Pre-Fabrication and Installation Works using Carbon steel Pipes, Stainless Steel Pipes, Copper Nickel Pipes, Stainless Steel Tubing and Glass Reinforced Epoxy Pipes. For all type of Piping System for Semi-Submersible oil rigs, Petro Chemical refineries.
In 2007, we decided to have our own independent company, so we organized and worked for the SEC Registration of our present company, the CESCO Offshore Construction Services, Inc.
After obtaining our SEC Registration in October of 2007, we were lucky that Keppel Batangas Shipyard offered us a building that served as our Office, Pre-Fabrication Shop and the Site Fabrication Shop. In January of 2008, we started our full business operation as independent company, bringing with us skilled manpower from our previous business partners. Alongside with this, we were lucky to have with us experienced manpower supplied by CESCO Environmental Technologies PTE, LTD in Singapore, our mother Company.
From 2008, our major projects include Global Sta. Fe, ENSCO 8500, ENSCO 8501, ENSCO 8502, QGP-B-295, ENSCO 8503, MAERSK-B-295, FLOATEL-B-302, ENSCO 8504, all at KEPPEL Batangas Shipyard. Hydro-Jetting project at Coral Bay Nickel Corporation located at Rio Tuba Export Processing Zone, Rio Tuba, Bataraza, Palawan. Worked on several Landing Crafts at Josefa Slipways, Bo. San Jose, Navotas City.
In September of 2009, the management decided to build a three storey building which presently housed all offices of every department in the organization, to further improve our products and services. Alongside with this, a sophisticated world caliber pre-fabrication and fabrication building was also erected for all Engineering Services like Fabrication of all types of Pipes, Structural Steel and others. Two buildings that served as our employees quarters complete with amenities suitable for human habituation, were also provided. Said buildings were inaugurated last May 5, 2010.
In a very short period of our operation as an independent Company, we become recipient of several prestigious awards in the industry. Keppel Batangas Shipyard management chose CESCO as the Most Safe Contractor (Gold Award 2009 and Bronze Award 2008). Several of our employees also received from the same management awards such as the Most Safe Employee of the Year, Most Safe Supervisor of the Year, and Most Safe Foreman of the Year, among others.
Aware of its social responsibilities, CESCO relentlessly extends support to victims of natural calamities, joins and even spearheads clean-up drives of the shores covering Barangays San Miguel, San Roque and San Andres respectively, all of Bauan, Batangas. As the Company aged, it tries to integrate in its program, the strengthening of its ties among Local Governments Units in its desire to extend more help to the local communities not only in terms of the provision of promising well paid jobs to the locals, but also extending material and / or financial assistance to the local communities. The management also ensures active involvement in both government and non-government organizations. The Company has membership in two (2) Government Organizations, namely the Batangas Province Tripartite Industrial Peace Council under Region IV-A Department of Labor and Employment Branch and Regional Tripartite Industrial Peace Council.
Moreover, the Management is working on the concept design of the Company`s Community Outreach Program, focused on the aspect of health, such as, Medical and Dental Program, Health Education for mothers and children, and once a month Feeding Program for kids of Barangays San Miguel and San Roque, both of Bauan, Batangas.
We have also co-sponsored with the AG&P a Training Program for the local participants on Reflexology. Said program graduated twenty nine candidates who are now licensed Reflexology Practitioners. This program helps boost the livelihood of the participants.
As the Company matures, the demands on our services grow in sophistication and complexity. We are constantly reviewing to upgrade our capabilities in meeting the demands of our valued clients. Repeated orders from our clients proved that we are continually able to satisfy their requirements. Presently we are fast tracking the accreditation to the three standards such as ISO 9001 (Quality Management System), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System), ISO 18001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management System).
